Your application

When you apply for a role at Healthscope for the first time, you will be prompted to set up a careers account with us. Don’t worry, you’ll only need to do this once. This will be the account you will use to apply for one or multiple roles, access any offers, or complete tasks associated with your job applications.

Once you have applied for a job, you will receive updates along the way, advising you on the progress of your application and next steps.

Offer of employment

If you are successful in the recruitment process, we will be sending your offer of employment electronically. You will be alerted via email and prompted to log into your Healthscope account to review and respond to the offer. You can choose to download a copy of this offer or alternatively, accepted offers can be obtained from payroll.

 

Healthscope on-boarding

After accepting your offer, you will be required to complete our on-boarding tasks, providing your personal details and bank information to our payroll system.

Serology requirements

Nursing staff, allied health and other work mates in patient-facing roles will be required to show proof of immunity to a number of diseases. This can vary on the role you are applying for and you will be advised of this throughout the recruitment process. Proof of immunity can be shown through a blood test done by your GP and from immunisation records.

 

Work Health and Safety requirements

Healthscope employees will be required to complete a work health and safety questionnaire to ensure that there are no risks associated with the role they are accepting.

Qualifications and identity Checks

A police check must have been done at least within the three-month period prior to applying for a role with us. Other checks and documentation which may be required may include; a qualification check, proof of identity, work rights checks, statement of service and a working with children check

 

Online eLearning

All new employees will be required to complete the Healthscope Company Induction online course, designed as part of the orientation process for those joining the Healthscope team. The course includes a brief explanation of the many facets of the Healthscope and our organisational structure. It also serves as a vehicle for delivering key policies such as the Code of Conduct, Workplace Health and Safety and others.
