Graduate Program
Knox Private Hospital, Bellbird Private Hospital, Ringwood Private Hospital, Frankston Private Hospital and The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre have formed a combined Graduate Nurse Program. All sites work in conjunction with each other to bring together diverse and specialised services for all outpatients. Graduates have the opportunity to rotate across sites allowing for a more comprehensive and innovative program. Successful candidates will be offered rotations at combination of these hospitals, which may include acute medical/surgical, cardiac, emergency, oncology, rehabilitation, orthopaedics and advanced surgical.
Our program is designed to provide a supportive environment that develops the confidence and competence of the graduate nurse.
About Our Graduate Program
The Healthscope Eastern Network Graduate Nurse Program is a 12-month program provides a positive and supportive environment in which graduate nurses are encouraged to develop both clinically and professionally while gaining exposure to a variety of clinical specialties.
Rotations
For Registered Nurses:
- 2 Rotations
- 2 rotations within the General medical/Surgical areas
- Opportunity for a potential 3rd rotation into a specialty area
For Enrolled Nurses:
- 2 rotations of General Medical/Surgical and/or Specialty Surgical or Cardiac rotation.

Our multi-disciplinary teams specialise in providing care across a full suite of services including oncology, surgical services, medical & geriatric care and end of life care. We also embrace the notion of mind and body wellbeing, and have an on-site gymnasium, as well as a cancer support nurse.
Frankston Private Hospital provides an extensive range of healthcare services to the Frankston and Peninsula communities. Our state of the art 60-bed facility is led by an expert multi-disciplinary team, creating the perfect environment to thrive both professionally and personally.
Backed by the latest technology, we offer 3 Operating theatres, 2 Day Surgery Theatres and a 4-bed Special Observation Unit.

The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre has a reputation for high quality and patient-focused care, across a range of rehabilitation specialties and within an inpatient and outpatient environment.
Our skilled team of rehabilitation physicians, nurses and allied health professionals provide expert care to our patients.
A comprehensive range of Allied Health Services are provided to support the individual needs of our patients. These include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, exercise physiology, dietetics, diabetic education, psychology, neuropsychology, speech therapy, social work and cancer support services.
Our team of expert carers assist patients with a wide range of conditions, with services including cardiac care, orthopaedic, pain management, respiratory reconditioning, stroke and trauma rehabilitation.
