The Geelong Clinic Graduate Nurse Program
for the Registered & Enrolled Nurse
The Geelong Clinic located on the eastern side of Geelong, is a leading regional private mental health service provider owned and operated by Healthscope. The hospital provides 52 inpatient beds, dedicated Day Programs and an Outreach service. We are currently in the process of expanding our services and investing $16 million to increase our inpatient beds and outpatient services by the end of 2021.
Nationally and internationally renowned for the provision of quality mental health care services, our focus is to provide patients with support and expertise from a comprehensive multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals. This includes: accredited psychiatrists; experienced registered mental health nurses; allied health staff (Psychologists, Social Workers, Dietitians, Exercise Physiologist, Music Therapist and Art Therapist); in conjunction with several key support services such as Administration and Housekeeping services.
The Geelong Clinic delivers the highest quality patient-centred care. Our healthcare is respectful of, and responsive to, the preferences, needs and values of patients. Our programs and care are based on the recovery model including relapse prevention strategies.
The Geelong Clinic embodies an inclusive service. We are dedicated to providing services that are culturally sensitive and aware. We understand and are accepting of diversity in identity and acknowledge the critical role that family and friends play in the lives of patients. We therefore also offer support and advice to assist them during their loved ones recovery.
