Graduate Nurse Program for the Registered Nurse

Melbourne Private Hospital is a large 122-bed facility with an exciting and challenging case mix. We’re renowned for complex surgery, neurosurgery and cardiology and have been independently recognised for excellence in clinical safety and service. Even our location is unique. You’ll find us in beautiful Parkville, inner Melbourne, where we share a precinct with the prestigious Royal Melbourne Hospital. 

With a variety of clinical rotations, in a program individually tailored to the needs of each graduate, Melbourne Private Hospital will provide exciting and fulfilling career opportunities.  

The aim of the graduate nurse program at Melbourne Private Hospital is to provide a stepping stone for the rest of your nursing career.  Your exposure will be maximized through two clinical rotations individually tailored to your preferences.
 

2 cardiac catheter laboratories Ear, nose and throat surgery Orthopaedic surgery
4 Operating theatres Endoscopy Urology
10 Bed intensive care unit (ICU) Electrophysiology Plastics and reconstructive surgery
Breast procedures Gastrointestinal surgery vascular surgery
Cardiology General surgery Interventional radiology
Cardiothoracic Surgery Gynaecological surgery Neurosurgery / Neurology
Day surgery Interventional Cardiology Respiratory medicine
