Graduate Nurse Program for the Registered & Enrolled Nurse
The Victoria Clinic is located in Prahran and has 52 beds offering a range of mental health care services.
The Victoria Clinic is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to individuals experiencing mental illness, psychological distress or dependency issues. We offer both inpatient and outpatient services. Our multidisciplinary team includes skilled and experienced Art Therapists, Dietician, Exercise Physiologist, Neuropsychologist, Occupational Therapists, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Registered Nurses and Social Workers. Our team is dedicated to providing quality, patient centred care in a compassionate and confidential environment.

We acknowledge the critical role that family and friends play in the lives of our patients and offer support and advice to assist them during their loved one’s recovery.
Our accredited programs are individually tailored to meet the needs of people with a wide range of mental health conditions. These can be offered on an inpatient or day program basis, as well as delivered in a patient’s own home through our outreach program. We recognise the role we play as a provider of quality mental health care.
The Victoria Clinic welcomes students and encourages staff development. We offer ongoing financial support to enable professional growth. We work closely with The Melbourne Clinic to ensure a breadth of opportunities are open to our staff.

The Victoria Clinic - Graduate Nurse Program
Our graduate nurse program includes rotation opportunities at The Melbourne Clinic which you can discuss with our Educator during your application process. The Victoria Clinic’s Graduate Nurse Program offers a supportive and friendly learning environment in which Graduate Nurses are encouraged to develop professionally and personally, through exposure to a broad variety of clinical areas. We are seeking individuals who are organised, proactive, resourceful, motivated, compassionate and resilient. What our Graduate Nurse Program offers:
- Part-time – 0.8EFT
- Three rotations across various general and specialty areas of The Victoria Clinic and The Melbourne Clinic
- Educator and mentor support
- A comprehensive orientation day
- Five paid study days during the year
- Eligibility for credit towards post-graduate studies at Victoria University upon successful completion of the program
