Healthscope engages the services of Converge International to provide an independent Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to all employees. Converge International EAP program provides short term and solutions focused counselling to support employees and their families in resolving personal and work based issues.

Healthscope is excited to launch PressReader, a digital service offering more than 7,000 newspaper and magazine titles, with all available free to all staff, patients and VMOs over Healthscope’s wi-fi at all our hospitals, offices and other locations.

PressReader includes many of the most well-known Australian magazines and publications, as well as international content in 150 languages and is accessibility-friendly. The initiative is part of our new news and entertainment offering for patients, employees and doctors, with the additional benefit of reducing the amount of paper coming through our hospital doors, another step towards our sustainability goals.

You can access all the great PressReader content on your smartphone or tablet devices when on-site and connected to our ‘Healthscope-wifi’ network. Our patients and their visitors will also have access throughout their stay.
