Our inaugural 2022 Ace Awards event was held on Monday 9 May, connecting celebrations across our sites, to celebrate our exceptional people for living our Safe Values and going above and beyond when it comes to making an impact on our patients, clients and partners.
In early 2022 we opened nominations for the Ace Awards, Healthscope and ACHA’s values based annual recognition program. Ten categories were available for peer nomination including individual and team nominations for each of our Safe Values (We Care, We Do, We Care, We’re a Team), a Graduate of the Year award and a Leader of the Year award.
We received 680 nominations that were reviewed by two national panels who after much deliberation selected our Ace Award Winners. Due to the calibre of the nominations, some categories had joint winners. Special commendations were also awarded to recognise excellent values-driven achievements on top of our category winners.
Whilst we have our national winners, all 680 individuals and teams nominated for an Ace Award deserve recognition as values champions. To be one of 680 individuals and teams nominations in an organisation with 20,000 staff members is no mean feat.
