| Name : Kath Toy Position : Undergraduate Coordinator Department : Education Site : Knox Private Hospital Kath came to Knox 2 years ago to take on the role of Undergraduate Coordinator. Kath has created a team of capable skilled educators who care for the well-being of students, patients and staff. Kath has increased the intake of students throughout the hospital (nearly quadrupled student days) without compromising patient care or staff satisfaction. Kath has worked tirelessly to build the Undergraduate Program. Wards are provided with dedicated facilitators and relationships have developed between the wards and the educators. It is a challenging role. Students feel supported and can rely on staff being around to answer questions. Her staff are also confident that they can turn to her for any issue and always makes herself available at any time. | |

| Name of Team : West Ward Team West Ward are not only a team they are a family. Each and every member of the team are constantly looking out for each other and for the needs of the ward that ultimately reflects in the smooth running of each shift. As a result of their team collaboration there has been a decrease in agency utilisation, decreased sick leave hours and increased patient and staff satisfaction. This team effort is all about working together, no concern for who should be doing what, just getting in there and ensuring that patients needs come first. | |
